Sep sesam Incorporates With Red Hat Storage

SEP Software Corp. announced
its functionality with Red Hat Storage.
SEP sesam, can
backup and re-deploy backups anywhere in Red Hat environments.
Backups created from data centers, virtualized environments and
private or public clouds can be moved to wherever system managers
prefer.

It offers a portfolio of OS, hypervisor, application and database
backup modules available. This software offers centralized backup
solutions to manage an unlimited number of locations and massive
amounts of data. Red Hat Storage Server combine with this offers
global replication capabilities with a single point of
administration.
Red Hat’s Storage replication is latency aware, object-based and
works with SEP sesam’s Si3 in-line dedupe capabilities. Utilizing
disk storage, the included, OpenStack certified, clustered file
system offers storage growth from anywhere in the world. By adding
storage capacity for backup jobs to the Red Hat Storage Server, it is
ready to utilize this space.
This backup solution
stack allows tiering and backup data migration on any storage device
(NAS or SAN) or cloud storage. This delivers a centralized backup
tool with a limitless, vendor-independent, backup storage solution
providing flexibility to IT administrators and reducing TCO.
