NetJapan Introducing vmGuardian ($980/Socket)

NetJapan, Inc., introduces vmGuardian backup and disaster recovery software for VMware ESXi virtual environments.

vmGuardian brings performance and protection to virtual environments featuring inline deduplication/compression and selective file restore.

A browser interface helps guide through the various configuration settings, scheduling and backup management tasks making it easy to backup and restore virtual environments.

vmGuardian supports live backup of virtual machines and virtual disks so there is no down time.

Virtual host backups gain benefit from vmGuardian’s inline data deduplication/compression because it allows nominally different data from each virtual machine to be coalesced into a single storage space. The resultant backups are compressed at remarkably high ratios, reducing backup storage needs.
