DataCore Distributed by Hammer

DataCore Software Corporation announces an agreement with storage distribution specialist, Hammer plc, to resell and provide
professional services to support their SANsymphony-V and VDS software
solution in Belgium and Netherlands.

With the contract effective immediately, Hammer is now official DataCore
distribution partner in UK, Belgium and the Netherlands.

SANsymphony-V storage hypervisor enables IT consultants and solution
providers to answer growing market demand for more cost-effective storage, into
tiered storage networks alongside conventional disk systems, as well as taking
advantage of rented capacity in the cloud and migrations to software-defined
storage. SANsymphony-V is an agnostic storage virtualization platform that
enables companies to avoid hardware lock-in and purchase only the equipment
that best suits their business goals.

Features, such as automated-tiering, allows IT administrators to get
the maximum ROI from expensive hardware purchases.

VDS (Virtual Desktop Server) is designed to deploy and serve virtual
desktops. It is a VDI application-specific use case that optimally applies
DataCore’s architectural advantages to make it practical to deploy persistent
‘stateful’ virtual desktops at a lower cost and higher performance than alternatives.

VDS addresses SMB market demand for cost-effective
solutions that want to adopt desktop virtualization for the same reasons large
enterprises do – to reduce desktop management costs, improve productivity and
increase business agility, but they often find enterprise solutions overkill
for smaller environments.

As part of the joint activities DataCore will participate in Storage Focus,
Europe’s storage channel conference. The event is designed for companies
looking to increase their storage revenues, and complimentary places are
