Cameron Pforr SVP of B’ss and Corporate Devt., Permabit

Permabit Technology Corporation, the recognized leader in data efficiency technology, named Cameron Pforr as its SVP of business and corporate development.  

Pforr has nearly 20 years of corporate, strategic and business development experience in the technology and financial services industries.  He was previously the president and CFO of WhipTail, in the competitive flash array space. Prior to that, he served as an advisor and investor in the datacenter space as a MD at Revolution Partners, a general partner at Mustang Capital Partners and director of communications banking at Deutsche Bank Securities. He held previous positions at BT Alex Brown and Bain & Company. In these roles, he worked with datacenter hardware and software vendors to improve their strategic positioning and focus business efforts to fuel revenue growth.  

Pforr has a master’s of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School, a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary.
