InfoPreserve Leverages dtSearch Engine From Search Technologies for Active Cloud Archive

Allowing Office, databases and web data indexing

InfoPreserve
Inc.
, in cloud-based intelligent document storage, and dtSearch Corp.,
supplier of enterprise and developer text retrieval software and document filters, announced the addition of active cloud archive features to
InfoPreserve’s cloud-based software offering.

The platform leverages the dtSearch
Engine’s data support and full-text search capabilities to optimize
searching of documents and metadata, emails and attachments, and
other enterprise data.

The architecture combines document
management and retention features.

"End users can be up and
running on our system in minutes,
" explains Eric Leinberg,
president and founder, InfoPreserve. "And your environment will be up and
running on the first day without requiring any IT resources.
"

But behind the interface resides a host
of features. Companies will retain control of their digital
information, while adding policy-driven workflow and collaboration,
retention management, audit trails, content authentication, and more.

The most important feature in the
system, however, is security. All data resides in a private cloud in
InfoPreserve’s facility, including a hardened perimeter, security
guards, security cameras and biometric access controls.

"Data stays within the U.S. and
you can meet the people who administer our secure servers. We enable
businesses to directly secure, control, and manage their information
across the entire enterprise.
"

The dtSearch Engine makes available to
developers the company’s proprietary document filters and instant
searching across terabytes of data. Supported data types include databases;
static and dynamic web data; and ‘Office’ PDF, HTML, XML, ZIP, emails
(with nested attachments) and other file types. The product offers
25+ fielded and full-text search options, with hit- highlighting in
all above data formats. It includes APIs in both Windows and Linux,
native 64-bit and 32-bit, C++, Java and .NET (through current
versions)

InfoPreserve elected to embed the
dtSearch Engine to enhance full-text searching of all content within
their platform.

"dtSearch is used in many
high-end e-discovery tools,
" says John Chapman, CEO,
InfoPreserve. "We are pleased to embed this advanced search
capability so our customers can quickly and easily find any document
they need.
"

"dtSearch welcomes the
opportunity to work with InfoPreserve to help their customers quickly
and easily find the information they need,
" says Kate
Tretter , director of operations, dtSearch. "We look
forward to working with InfoPreserve as they expand their product
line and customer base.
