SANBlaze Supporting for Emulex 16Gb FC Adapters

SANBlaze Technology, Inc., in
storage emulation systems, announced support for Emulex 16Gb FC (16GFC) adapters.

SANBlaze VirtuaLUN storage emulation systems provides a means to test and
exercise SAN hardware and software products with thousands of simulated disks, or hundreds of emulated hosts, saving the
expense of populating a test environment with real, expensive hardware.
SANBlaze systems are widely deployed and an invaluable tool for storage
development, test and QA labs.

Emulex’s 16GFC technology delivers up to 1.2 million IO/s on a single
port, enabling its LightPulse HBAs to meet the needs of performance hungry applications. The architecture enables all resources to be
applied to any port that needs it, ensuring SLAs are met.

For 16GFC development, manufacturing and QA requirements, SANBlaze emulation
software solutions can now be deployed utilizing the Emulex 16GFC HBAs.

The VirtuaLUN features a web-based interface enabling easy configuration
of storage devices, re-configuration, error injection, performance testing and
monitoring. It features an extensive command line interface, intricate
scripting capabilities and XML interfaces allowing it to be integrated into
multifunction test environments. In addition to FC, SANBlaze emulation
solutions are available for FCoE, SAS and iSCSI.
