and recovery services for IT channel partners by offering its data
protection app in a private cloud hosting model.

This meets
the demand from MSPs and their customers to own the hardware on which
their data is stored and on which the online backup application is
run.

While many
firms have found infrastructure cost savings by hosting their online
backups in a public cloud, an equal number have become wary of the
public cloud. Numerous data breach incidents and
spontaneous shutdowns of data centers in recent years have
contributed to this concern. In 2011, IDC reported that 53% of
IT managers felt that private cloud hosting was more secure than
public cloud hosting.

Backup has created its application with the ability to be run in
different data centers in a variety of locations. It
hosts data in data centers on five continents. It was a logical to
enable its partners to host their white-label cloud backup solution
in the data center of their choice.

private cloud deployment offers all of the same features offered by
its hosted service. Partners will be able to white-label the
solution, monitor account activity and storage in the dashboard, and
deploy software and backup policies remotely.
