Bit Refinery Launching DR-as-a-Service

Bit Refinery LLC, provider of
cloud IaaS, announced that it is offering DRaaS.

The
solution delivers real-time cloud DR services, enabling businesses of
all sizes to protect production applications both to the cloud and in
the cloud. The cloud-based DR service is powered by Zerto‘s hypervisor-based solution, Zerto
Virtual Replication.

"This
new offering makes cloud-based DR more viable to numerous
organizations because it is now simpler and more affordable than ever

"Zerto’s hypervisor-based solution is very cost-effective and
enables us to deliver all the benefits of cloud automation while
ensuring mission-critical applications stay protected and available.
We have had significant interest, with several customers already
signing on for the service."

This DR
offering allows companies to choose DRaaS, protecting on-premise
applications to the cloud, and/or in-cloud DR, protecting
applications deployed in the cloud and replicated to a secondary
cloud data center. The company’s use of VMware vCloud Director
allows visibility into protected vApps/VMs and recovered VMs through
a single pane of glass.
