Buffalo, Inc. announced the TeraStation 5000 WSS Series of high performance NAS appliances based on Windows Storage Server 2012, delivering a cost-effective solution for SMB and enterprise customers.

Comprised of four different configurations and capacities from 4TB to 24TB, including a 1U rack mount, the TeraStation 5000 WSS Series offers high-performance RAID-based network storage, powered by a dual-core Atom processor and 4GB of installed RAM for performance. It offers data protection with available data replication and NovaBACKUP software for Windows devices. As a network storage appliance, the TeraStation 5000 WSS Series delivers economics by leveraging reliable hardware matched with storage capabilities.
