The device utilises the CyberLink software suite, which provides users with
advanced tools for the enjoyment of their Blu-Ray movies and enables
them to create and burn HD and 3D content.

The new BRXL-16U3 drive is for consumers looking for ultimate performance
in the playback and burning of Blu-Ray discs, DVDs and CDs.

It is also ready-to-go with a simple setup process and offers data
transfer speeds of up to 5GB/s via its USB 3.0 port. It simplifies periodic
backups and archive creation with its BDXL support for large capacities of 100
to 128GB, which translates into on average 17,000 pictures or 1,000mn of HD
video.

Fabien Rousseau, product marketing director EMEA at Buffalo, said: "Buffalo’s latest Blu-Ray XL Drive provides
users with exceptional performance levels, whether they are using it for
entertainment purposes, backing up their data or burning Blu-Rays, DVDs and
CDs."

"The 16x drive speed enables
movie lovers to enjoy regular DVDs in near-HD quality and to convert their
favorite films into 3D format. It is also able to copy a full DVD in just
seven minutes, which makes it a fantastic tool.
"

The Blu-Ray XL Drive is available from Buffalo’s stockists in the UK at an MSRP
of £129.99, including VAT, with a two-year limited warranty.
