Among three other nominations, to drive North American growth
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 10, 2013 at 2:47 pmMimecast Ltd. announced four strategic new appointments and roles: Pat Paulin, VP of finance; Kelly Madden, VP of human resources; Steve McKenzie, VP marketing and Mounil Patel, VP of field enablement.
They will add depth to existing senior executive team and support the company’s expansion in the North American market.
Pat Paulin joins Mimecast as VP of finance to lead the company’s financial strategy. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) who brings over 30 years of experience in financial roles ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies such as Platform Computing (an IBM company), Ryan, Allen-Vanguard, Amdocs and Bell Canada. He will apply his knowledge of fast-growing private and public companies to support Mimecast’s growth. In particular he will focus on rapidly expanding U.S. operations in areas such as Dallas, San Francisco and Chicago where the company has recently opened offices.
Kelly Madden joins as VP of human resources. She brings over 20 years of experience integrating human resources into an organization’s mission and will be responsible for fostering current employee development, identifying top technology talent and empowering company leaders. She previously held employee relations roles at Family Service of Rhode Island, Psychological Centers, Target Corporation and Toys ‘R’ Us. She brings knowledge of what it takes to build and maintain a motivated workplace and in her role she will develop targeted training programs to support key positions within the company.
Steve McKenzie joins the U.S team as VP marketing following five years as VP sales with Mimecast’s UK office. He brings a knowledge of the Mimecast customer base and user requirements. Previously, he a founding partner of BOO! Media, where he focused on new business and product development and has also held roles at technology companies such as Morse. In his new role, he will apply his experience and customer relations insight to accelerate the company’s growth with a focus on investment in the channel to drive US expansion.
Finally Mounil Patel, has been promoted to VP of field enablement, a new function within the business. He previously spent three years as director of sales engineering and professional services for Mimecast. He brings product knowledge and market expertise to ensure that all of the sales, sales engineering and channel teams are well equipped to meet the expectations set for them. In his new role, he will apply his experience to maximize the potential of the company’s existing sales teams and drive continued growth in the U.S.
