Online Backup (Pro Softnet Corporation), a
cloud storage provider, is now Southern California’s
largest cloud provider.
It now boasts a total storage of over 35PBs of
user data, as well as over 400 million smartphone contacts backed up through
their mobile applications. It also announced breaking past 2 million user
accounts.
IDrive’s CEO Raghu Kulkarni stated: "We’re proud of what we have accomplished,
and owe much of that success to being here in Southern California."
Human resources manager Pankti Shah explained the
benefit of being located in LA: "Basing
ourselves in Southern California has allowed us to draw on a talented, diverse
pool of individuals that otherwise may not have had a chance to work in the
tech sector, with so many companies being based in the San Francisco bay area."
In the last year, IDrive increased its staff by over a
third. "We have built a strong,
interconnected team all dedicated to providing the best cloud service possible,"
stated Shah.
"Ultimately,
what makes us a success is delivering on the vision of a strong service, with
affordable pricing, and a customer-friendly focus," said business development
associate Shane Bingham, "And at
IDrive, we are focused on creating the best experience for our users, so that
they will feel like IDrive is an integral part of their digital life."
According to Kulkarni, they’re not done building that
vision: "We’re embracing the talent
Southern California has to offer, and are always looking for top tier
candidates for positions in our company."
