Acronis Releases True Image Lite 2013 for PC Backup and Cloud Storage

$30 for basic package, $50/year for 250GB additional storage

announced a solution for anyone wanting local PC backup coupled with the added assurance of
secure cloud storage.

is optimized to provide file backup for any user,
ensuring that files, photos and video are protected. Not only are the
files protected through local backup to the PC or other storage
devices, but users also have an option to automatically store their
files in the Acronis cloud.

The software is designed to meet the
needs of on-the-go mobile consumer. By storing data to the Acronis
cloud, users can access their information everywhere, every time
through a browser or free mobile app on a tablet or smartphone.

It leverages patented local and cloud
backup technology to deliver file protection to the home user. In a
few clicks, novice users can get their photos, music and files
back after common disruptions such as PC failure, theft, virus attack
or human error.

True Image Lite can be used via free
mobile application for access on iOS
and Android
devices. Users can store data to local devices, such as an external
USB or hard drive, and online via Acronis cloud storage for data
protection, availability and accessibility. This
‘set-it-and-forget-it’ approach to at-home backup updates changes
made to pre-selected files and folders. The incremental backups that
happen behind the scenes provide the ability to go back in time to
retrieve lost or deleted files, regardless of whether it was the last
version saved.

It is available in stores and online
for an MSRP of $29.99. Users can add-on 250GB of Acronis
cloud storage for an additional $4.99 per month, or $49.99 per
year.
