Marcus Thompson EMEA Sales Director, StorMagic

StorMagic, Inc. announces the appointment of the newest member to its team.

 Marcus Thompson joins StorMagic to provide sales leadership and oversight for the EMEA region as the company continues to experience exponential growth and expansion from enterprise business.

"Marcus joins our sales team as we continue to meet the growth and significant demand for enterprise-class, virtual storage solutions for remote and branch-office environments. I am confident that with Marcus’ extensive experience, we can continue to engage with a broader base of European end-users as well as strategic partners that would benefit from our expertise in multi-site environments," explains Hans O’Sullivan, CEO at StorMagic.

Marcus brings over 20 years of sales management experience in the storage industry. Previously, he has held senior sales management positions at Drobo, Hewlett Packard, LeftHand Networks, DataCore Software and Eurologic.

At StorMagic, Marcus is responsible for all major accounts in EMEA and will provide sales leadership for the inside sales and account management teams.

Growth from the enterprise sector has also necessitated the creation of a new position, director of strategic accounts. Richard Forrest will step into this role to continue the development and management of these key accounts that are strategic to our continued expansion into large multi-site organizations.

StorMagic is also recruiting a U.S. based sales director who will be responsible for expanding  the company’s  account sales activities including identification, development and closing of  accounts throughout the US.
