Dot Hill and Meganet Sign OEM Agreement

Systems Corporation, a provider of storage solutions, has entered into an OEM,
agreement with Mega Networks Pvt Ltd.
(Meganet), a provider of IT solutions for database and virtual desktop
applications.

With a primary focus on marketing Dot
Hill’s AssuredSAN Pro 5000 Series real-time tiering solution for midrange
environments, Meganet will also offer Dot Hill’s portfolio of AssuredSAN
solutions for SMBs throughout India.

The AssuredSAN
Pro 5000 Series with RealStor software takes tiered storage to a level of
autonomic, real-time data tiering. Designed for the midrange market, the
AssuredSAN Pro 5000 Series is an integrated storage solution
that delivers faster access to current data with built-in, real-time, autonomic
tiered storage and virtualization.

The AssuredSAN storage portfolio
offers up to 384TBs of capacity in a single system. It
features new storage networking technologies such as 8Gb FC and 6Gb SAS.

"These
systems provide accelerated performance for sequential workloads, making them
ideal solutions for high performance computing, telecommunications data
capture, media streaming, video post-production, and broadcasting. The 4000
Series supports 5,200MB/s sequential reads, and 3000 MB/s sequential writes,

leverages a combination of super capacitors and flash memory. Business benefits
