NovaStor Introduces NovaBackup 14.5

NovaStor
Software AG announced the availability of the version 14.5 of its
NovaBACKUP
for PC backup, Windows
server backup, SQL,
Exchange, Hyper-V and VMware backup.

With version 14.5, users can create DR
boot discs in a few clicks, restore single files from image backups
and configure a NAS with all security settings as standard backup
device.

DR Protection
It allows users to create an up-to-date
DR disc in three clicks. The disc serves to boot the system either on
the existing or a new hardware after a failure or loss. The use of
original Windows technology for the DR disc ensures that users are
equipped with a solution for any situation based on the latest
technology.

Single File Recovery from a System
Image
NovaBACKUP equips users with file and
image backup features. When files have been deleted or lost, it
allows users to restore the data from a file backup or to mount an
image for direct file access. The ‘tools’ section guides users in a
few clicks to mounting the image, providing access to the files just
as if the image is a drive.

Backup to NAS Device
Taking into account the popularity of
NAS devices in home and business environments this version features a
one-stop NAS configuration. Users can configure a NAS from one
screen. Security settings are covered to ensure all processes comply
with IT security measures. Once the NAS has been configured, users
choose the device as target for any number of backup jobs.

Support of Exchange 2013
and new
hardware generation
To ensure business customers can
protect Microsoft products, this version supports Exchange
2013, Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. UEFI support also ensures
that the product will backup the latest generation of hardware.
