Datatrend Becoming Actifio Reseller

Datatrend Technologies, Inc., a storage
solutions provider, announces its authorization as a certified reseller of Actifio, Inc. Copy Storage (CDS) Systems.

With this announcement, Datatrend will provide clients with a way to
manage data growth while solving their IT challenges around information
protection and availability.

The CDS is designed to address the
requirements of copy data, which is contributing to the growth in the
volume of storage. It is a purpose-built appliance – including production-class
hardware and software – that enables organizations to achieve recovery times of
mn rather than hours and reduces TCO by as much as 90% versus the traditional
model.

The solution helps
customers manage their data protection, availability, and applications
typically handled by point tools like backup, snapshot, DR, BC, replication,
de-duplication, and even WAN optimization. CDS virtualizes these disparate
storage management functions to deliver a solution that decouples the management
of copy data from storage, network, and server infrastructure.
