Comsys, an IT infrastructure support company, has
announced its continued expansion by becoming a pan-European business partner
of Axxana, Inc.
The deal is valued at
£1 million over the next two years and will see Comsys integrate the
Axxana enterprise data protection technology into their solutions portfolio
across the UK, Irish and North African markets.
Comsys has expanded
its solutions and services portfolio in the last two years
and grown through new customer acquisition. The business now operates in the
UK, Irish and North African markets.
Axxana is a company that is growing. Developed
in conjunction with EMC Corporation, the
Axxana Phoenix System is a DR solution capable of
delivering zero data loss over any distance using IP lines. It is effectively a
‘Black Box for DR’ solution.
Ben McGahon, MD of
Comsys said: "Our ongoing expansion,
including our new status as a pan-European Axxana partner, further enhances our
ability to deliver the highest QoSs and solutions to our customers."
He continued: "We chose Axxana because a critical element
of our strategy to drive business growth is our focus on partnering with
innovative technology vendors, like Axxana; who are changing the game in terms
of what’s possible around DR systems. Axxana’s technology effectively
transforms asynchronous replication into synchronous replication, delivering a
complete solution that guarantees zero data loss over any distance at no
additional cost or, in many cases, decreased costs."
Paul Jassies, director
of sales for Axxana said: "We are
delighted that Comsys has become an Axxana partner. As we expand our channel
partner network across Europe we are looking for innovative partners who
understand the value proposition that Axxana brings to the market."
"Comsys have demonstrated that they
have the technical skills along with the sales and marketing
capabilities to effectively grow and support our base of customers in the
UK and Irish markets, along with the emerging markets in North Africa,"
he said.
