Central Data Storage Chosen by Seattle Study Club
For online backup and recovery service for patient records
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on April 11, 2013 at 3:01 pmCentral Data Storage (CDS), specialist in Storage as a Service (STaaS),
has signed an exclusive agreement with the Seattle Study Club, a network of
dental practices across the world that are dedicated to excellence in their
profession and management of their practices.
Under the terms of the agreement, CDS will execute an
education-based strategy to provide Study Club members with a fully
monitored, managed online backup and rapid recovery service for their patient
records.
"We
are pleased to work closely with such a well-established and prestigious group,"
said Ed Conklin, president and CEO of CDS. "Their membership base includes many of the country’s most successful
dentists who understand that a successful practice must protect vital patient
information. The Study Club recognizes that typical consumer based backup
solutions do not have a place in a well-managed dental office. We will provide
proven experience in practice management data protection as well as a staff of
dedicated technical experts."
"We
immediately saw the benefit of the expertise that CDS brings to our members,"
said Greg Tice, national director of the Seattle Study Club. "CDS services will greatly reduce downtime
for our dentists and keep them in compliance. When you take into account the
liability concerns that are mitigated through a system such as CDS’s, it makes
sense to use their online backup solution and support team. We see this as both
an educational opportunity on data security and a way to change how practices
protect their vital information today. Their patients will be comforted as
well, knowing personal data is never exposed to breaches."
In the joint partnership, CDS will help
dental offices address offsite data security challenges by offering both custom
online Storage as a Service and locally monitored plans that are
budget-friendly.
