Brian Brogan VP Global Sales, Gazzang

Gazzang, Inc., the Linux data security company, announced the appointment of Brian Brogan as VP of global sales.

Brogan is a seasoned sales executive with more than twenty years of proven experience exceeding revenue and profitability goals in competitive technology environments His expertise spans enterprise software, SaaS , storage, services, hardware, mobile internet systems and workforce optimization sales via direct and indirect routes to market.

"Big data, cloud computing and the adoption of open source software are driving high demand for solutions that keep sensitive data secure, while facilitating the pace and performance needs of today’s businesses," said Brogan. Prior to Gazzang, Brogan was VP of enterprise software sales at Verint Systems. He joined the company from Openwave Systems, where he ran activities related to sales, operations and partnerships including IBM, HP ALU, F5 and Juniper. He has also held sales executive and management roles at EMC, Legato Systems, Fujitsu Siemens and IBM.

Brian earned his MBA in Finance from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York and attended Executive MBA programs at Harvard and Dartmouth University.
