Calvary Chapel Selects Panasas Scale-Out Storage

Chapel‘s chosen storage provider to accelerate broadcast media production and
speed content distribution.

Relying on the Panasas ActiveStor 14 parallel storage solution, Calvary
broadcasts services to multiple locations and streams HD high definition
video content and other recorded material to its widely dispersed 40,000 member
congregation.

With out-of-date infrastructure, Calvary
Chapel’s video production team suffered performance delays, capacity
limitations and file sharing inefficiencies that impacted the organization’s
ability to keep up with modern media workloads. Panasas, with reseller partner
ReelData, designed a tapeless, digital workflow using Panasas ActiveStor 14 and
the integrated PanFS parallel file system. Panasas also provided data
distribution technology that allowed Calvary Chapel to speed delivery of its HD
content to its congregation.
