Dot Hill AssuredSAN 4000 DataCore Ready

Dot Hill Systems Corporation announced that
its AssuredSAN 4000 series storage arrays are ‘DataCore Ready’ and provide
interoperability with the SANsymphony-V storage hypervisor from DataCore Software Corporation.

re-deployment is one example of an application that can help end users do more

The
AssuredSAN 4000 series is the second Dot Hill platform to achieve the DataCore
Ready certification following in the footsteps of the AssuredSAN 3000 earlier
this year. It compliments the AssuredSAN 3000 by providing
users with data transfer speeds of up to 5,200MB/s read and 3,000MB/s write.
This delivers a performance storage infrastructure
which can be further enhanced with DataCore’s level 1 caching technology. The
combination of AssuredSAN storage and SANsymphony-V storage
hypervisor can also assist end users in simplifying storage management and improving
data availability. Certification under the DataCore Ready program provides end
users with the confidence that AssuredSAN 4000 storage solutions have
undergone verification testing to ensure joint solution compatibility.

The
DataCore storage hypervisor will enable AssuredSAN 4000 series with
added performance acceleration through adaptive caching, space efficiency with
thin provisioning and a multitude of HA features including synchronous mirroring
and CDP for any point-in-time backup and recovery.

a superior level of joint solution compatibility. Only third party products
that meet the verification criteria set by DataCore are
qualified as DataCore Ready.

The
program is designed for software vendors, hardware vendors, hosting
service providers and cloud technology firms who have demonstrated product and
solution compatibility with DataCore products. The DataCore Ready logo helps
customers identify DataCore partner’s products and solutions that are tested
and optimized for SANsymphony-V.
