Chris Maher COO, GreenBytes

Was practice manager in virtualization global practice at Microsoft.

GreenBytes, Inc. named Chris Maher as COO.

maher_greenbytes He joins GreenBytes from Flexera Software, a provider of application usage management solutions, where he drove over $30M in revenue. In his new role, he will be responsible for the global operations of GreenBytes, including the 24x7x365 customer service center, manufacturing team and global logistics team.

Maher brings more than a decade of progressive experience building and leading professional and customer services teams for software start-ups in the virtualization industry. Prior to Flexera Software, he worked at Neocleus, a client hypervisor provider (acquired by Intel), where he built the support and services organization from the ground up. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a practice manager in the virtualization global practice at Microsoft, and previously served as the engagement director at Softricity, an application virtualization pioneer (acquired by Microsoft).

Maher holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University. Maher will be based at GreenBytes corporate HQs in Providence, R.I. and will assume his position immediately
