Novosoft Releases V7.3.4 of Handy Backup Software

Novosoft LLC announces a new version of their key software Handy Backup.

Version 7.3.4 comes with improvements focusing on performance and stability under high loads. The update is free and is recommended for all users of Windows Servers.

"SMB is the fastest growing user segment for Handy Backup, and business-related features are among top priorities on the product roadmap," said Alexander Rassokhin, product manager of Handy Backup. "The new version is optimized for servers with high connection/transaction rates, e.g. servers hosting VMs. It became faster and more resource-friendly, with no detriment to security and user experience."

Previous version of Handy Backup, released in February 2013, introduced support for backing up SQL Server 2012 and  Exchange Server 2013. Version 7.3.4 continues Novosoft’s commitment to fulfill customer feature requests and deliver reliable and trustworthy solutions.

About Handy Backup
It is a line of backup and DR software for Windows computers and Windows Server-based enterprise networks. It allows protecting files, HDD images and backing up server data including MS SQL Server (2005, 2008 and 2012), MS Exchange Server (2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013), MySQL, Oracle, DB2, Lotus Notes and other. In 2012, the utility received the Best Small Business App award from PCMag.

Business editions of the software are called Small Server, priced at $199, and Network Server, priced at $599. The Network Server edition can be installed on multiple computers and backup five servers from a single control point.
