nScaled Recovery as a Service Solution Supports NetApp

nScaled, Inc., provider of online backup and DR
service solutions, announced that its enterprise recovery as a service (RaaS)
solution now supports NetApp, Inc.‘s storage systems.

The nScaled service puts DR squarely in the hands of business professionals,
making data recoverable without the
requirement of having dedicated storage or virtualization technical expertise.

For SMB’s, downtime of critical data infrastructure and services
can negatively affect customers, employees and partners-ultimately affecting
revenues and brand integrity. At the same time, facilitating data availability
and recoverability in an efficient and scalable way can be complex and
challenging. This is especially true for duplicative infrastructure solutions
that offer limited automation, recovery scope, and recovery time or are
cost-prohibitive to implement.

"nScaled
now protects NetApp volumes enabling backup and recovery across the data
spectrum from files to servers to data centers," said CTO, Ilya Beyer,
nScaled. "As an automated,
self-service offsite backup, we seamlessly complement and extend the protection
of NetApp environments, covering multiple use cases."

The nScaled platform integrates
with NetApp storage systems using the Data ONTAP API. The new offering aims to
provide certified backup, DR and remote storage for businesses that have or
plan to use a NetApp storage infrastructure. The nScaled solution simplifies
and centralizes visibility, provides automation and workflow controls for IT BC management.

"Additional
benefits from the NetApp – nScaled joint architecture are low recovery point
objectives for replicated snapshots, and inherited Active Directory controlled
access to spun-up file shares," continued Beyer.
