AccuRAID 8Gb FC and iSCSI RAID for VMware Environment

Sans Digital, Inc. announced its VMware and iSCSI compliant rackmount enclosures.

The AccuRAID line of 8Gb/s FC and iSCSI rackmounts is an enterprise solution for VMware and SAN applications that demand performance and reliability.

Designed to meet the challenge of high capacity storage network requirements, the AccuRAID line of FC and iSCSI enclosures is expandable and is configured and managed through a simple to use GUI.

With redundant components including cooling fans, power supply, and an upgradeable dual RAID controller, the AccuRAID Series provides a HA solution for mission critical applications. The AccRAID array utilizes 3.5" trays with 2.5" screws holes for 3.5" and 2.5" SSD/SAS/SATA drives, allowing replacement and simple trouble-shooting. It could also be scaled to RAID levels 0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5, 6, 30, 50, 60 or JBOD configurations. Featuring durable, duty steel housing and a user-friendly LCD panel, it meets data intensive application demand.

AccuRAID AR224F8, AR212F8, AR316F8, and AR424F8
The AccuRAID FC series consist of is a 2U 24-bay SFF (AR224F8), 2U 12-bay (AR212F8), 3U 16-bay (AR316F8) and 4U 24-bay (AR424F80 rack-mountable 8Gb FC RAID enclosure. With quad 8Gb FC host interface with an option to run dual controllers plus 6Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA dual hard drive support, the series is designed to deliver 8Gb FC performance per channel. Users could choose between high performance SAS drives or cost-effective / high capacity SATA drives. With SAS expander support, the series is capable of up to 480TB of capacity with additional JBOD expansion units and is compatible with VMware, Windows MPIO, and other iSCSI systems.

AccuRAID AR316I and AR424I
The AccuRAID iSCSI series is a 3U 16-bay (AR316I) and 4U 24-bay (AR424I) quad channel (4xGbE) iSCSI to SAS/SATA RAID subsystem with redundant controller upgradeable option. With built-in 4x1GbE ports supporting independent access, fail-over or load-balancing (802.3ad port trunking, LACP), the series is capable of composing a high performance SAN environment with a fraction of the cost of FC RAID storage systems. Built-in redundant controller ready backplane allows non-destructive redundancy controller upgrade path without purchasing a new hardware. The AccuRAID iSCSI is compatible with VMware, Windows MPIO, and other iSCSI systems.
