This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 4, 2013 at 2:48 pmThe Storage Networking Industry Association Europe (SNIA Europe) announced its new leadership team for the Benelux country committee, its participation in the Brussels Storage Expo event, 20-21 March 2013, and its partnership with the Channel Transformation Alliance.
The Benelux country committee is charged with oversight of the Association’s vision and mission by locally driving the evolution and adoption of storage technologies and standards, educating the market and influencing relevant EU and national polices. The new Benelux team is focused on influencing, educating and shaping industry standards in areas such as: big data, Cloud Storage, Data Management, Emerging Technologies such as flash and Solid State Storage.

Storage Expo Brussels
The Benelux team kicks-off the 2013 SNIA Europe activities at the Brussels Storage Expo by delivering three presentations on the 21st of March, as part of a SNIA Europe track at this event:
- Gilles Chekroun, SNIA Europe board of directors, Cisco presents: Technical Overview of Data Center Networks,
- Vincent Marescau SNIA Europe BeneLux member, Dell, presents: The Benefits of Solid State in Enterprise Storage Systems
- Wessel Gans, SNIA Europe Benelux member, NetApp, presents: Can You Manage at PetaByte Scale?
About the Channel Transformation Alliance (CTA)
"In today’s era of cloud computing and IT-as-a-Service, resellers and service providers within the storage industry are required to transform their marketing, sales, service delivery and overall business operations practices significantly," said Edouard Moens de Hase from the Channel Transformation Alliance.
