Xyratex and Pentaho Partnering

Xyratex Ltd has partnered with Pentaho Corporation, which delivers big data
and predictive analytic solutions from one integrated platform, to develop an integrated big data analytics and scalable
storage solutions.

The combined offerings, which will be released later this year, will help
organizations decrease the amount of hardware and software required to complete
major data analysis projects – and unlock the limitless potential of big data
while delivering lower TCO to end users.

Pentaho Business Analytics, which includes instant big data discovery application, unifies data
integration and business analytics capabilities into a single embeddable
platform. Research carried out by analyst
firms found Pentaho Business Analytics to excel in TCO, ROI,
functionality, agility and performance for big data, OEM and enterprise
users.

ClusterStor
delivers file system performance, scalability and efficiency.
Its architecture brings together what were previously discrete
server, network and storage platforms with their own separate software layers,
into a single integrated modular scale out storage building block. This
approach enables the solution to scale both performance and capacity whilereducing space, power and administrative overhead.
