UK Launch of ViperVault Online Backup by Softek

Softek Ltd., UK based
distributor of IT Security and cloud services, announced the UK
launch of ViperVault,
an online backup and DR service, which includes the Continuity
Cloud service.

It allows organisations and businesses
to backup any file server, laptop, computer or other data to an
offsite location.

In the event of a disaster – flood,
fire, theft, a hardware failure or data loss – The Continuity Cloud
service allows customers to ‘spin-up’ servers and restore access to
data in the cloud,

Shameem Ibrahim, sales director for
Softek commented: "We are delighted to be able to launch
ViperVault in the UK."

"Although there are many online
backup solutions available, none are as comprehensive
as ViperVault," continued Ibrahim.

"As well as being able to
natively backup any Windows, Mac or Linux computer, we have also been
working closely with Dell to make sure their AppAssure backup
customers are fully supported by ViperVault, and also with
StorageCraft Inc. to support their ShadowProtect software customers.

"We see the Continuity Cloud
service as the real killer feature for our business
customers. The ability to provision a server or access critical data
in the cloud almost instantaneously in case of an emergency means
that there is practically no down-time. Also customers only pay on an
as-use basis – so if they don’t use it there is no cost."
