Dakota
Backup, LLC (KT
Connections Inc.) announced the launch of its version 12
platform, implemented in conjunction with Asigra
Inc.
Asigra is Dakota Backup’s partner and
offsite backup software provider.
This cloud DR company situated in the
Black Hills of western South Dakota makes known the features
this platform holds for existing and future clients.
"We’ve been anticipating this
launch for months now," said Casey Parker, president of
Dakota Backup & Recovery. "As a company, we strive to
position ourselves at the forefront of up-and-coming technology. Our
goal is to bring the future to our clients before it’s actually here.
We want them to expect the best from us, and Version 12 delivers just
that."
As far as the technology in cloud
recovery goes, Version 12 will provide the same solution since inception in 2005. Features include
cloud-2-cloud backup, storage that supports enterprise data types in
a single repository, snapshot support for large-scale data sets, and
VM DR that can spin-up a virtual environment for BC during DR.
"Clients, old and new, will be
pleased to hear that we‘ve enhanced the services we
offer with Version 12," said David Shilman, senior
representative for Dakota Backup’s data protection solution. "First
and foremost, v12 will allow for a quicker RTO to
swiftly take in hand productivity, risk reduction, and economic loss
prevention in the event of an IT failure."
The company is thrilled to be offering
SMBs worldwide an offsite backup software solution that works for all
data types and ensures a reaction and initiation of the DR process.
With v12, data recovery begins the second you go down and business
productivity goes on as usually.
