NextVault Strengthens Online Backup and Recovery
With rCloud
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 6, 2013 at 2:51 pmNextVault, Inc., a cloud online backup
company, unveiled its data protection and recovery service – rCloud.
rCloud provides enterprise-level backup with cloud DR in one solution
for businesses of all sizes.
"We are very excited about adding
rCloud to our offerings," said Kevin B. Harris, president and CEO of
NextVault. "Most businesses out
there have been struggling trying to ensure they have the best business
recovery options available to them while still maintaining strict cost control."
rCloud makes recovery for businesses easy combining regular
backups with offsite storage of that backup data in a prepared cloud recovery
environment. It eliminates the need to have expensive hardware recovery
plans in place or risk significant outage times dues to waiting for replacement
hardware to arrive.
How
rCloud works:
- Regular backups occur as scheduled and the data
gets stored on a local storage device. -
Within a 24-hour period the most recent backup image delta is uploaded to the
rCloud environment. -
At any time the customer can log in to their rCloud environment and initiate a
test in a lab setting or implement a full DR mode for up to 30-days as part of
the solution.
"As more and more businesses across all
industries become completely reliant on their computing technology to operate
even the most simple of functions, rCloud becomes a necessary solution to
ensure their resilience during hardship," said Harris. "One of the best things about the solution is
that we are able to offer it at a surprisingly affordable price to ensure
businesses of all sizes can take advantage of it."
