Tracy Balent Senior Director Americas Channel Sales, FalconStor

FalconStor Software, Inc. announced that Tracy Balent has joined the company as senior director of channel sales, Americas.

Balent has appeared on CRN’s Women of the Channel list for the past four years and was recently named to the publication’s Power 100 list.

FalconStor has also promoted Pramila Nair to the position of country manager, Canada.

 Most recently VP of global channel strategy and marketing at CA Technologies, Balent‘s responsibilities will include overseeing FalconStor’s national resellers in the Americas to drive collaboration and execute joint business plans across the partner community. She has more than 20 years of IT industry experience and has served in numerous roles, managing all aspects of channel sales and marketing. She has a track record of enhancing both partner and customer confidence by boosting sales team alignment, driving adoption of new product releases, introducing partner profitability programs, and launching lead referral campaigns.

 Nair, newly named FalconStor country manager for Canada, most recently served the company as territory manager. In that position she strengthened Canadian partnerships and developed and executed channel and customer marketing plans. He has more than 15 years of experience in channel sales in North America, the Middle East and Asia. Prior to joining FalconStor, she was a territory manager at Symantec, where she started the company’s operations in Qatar and grew sales over 300% within two years.
