e-ternity
BC Consultants Inc., provider of monthly
cloud-based data backup, security and recovery services that guarantee BC to
customers internationally, announced that its SkyCentre Channel
Partner Program showed growth in the second half of 2012, with the company
poised to continue that growth in 2013.
SkyCentre is a portfolio of
monthly cloud computing services delivered by e-ternity that enables companies
to selectively outsource technology-related tasks to an expert third party
organization. The Partner Program provides existing IT
solution providers with cloud services for them to sell to their
customers without the up-front business investment typically associated with
launching a new service offering. In addition to the cloud services themselves,
e-ternity’s program also offers training via a four day onsite Cloud KickStart
course that covers business, sales, and technical topics.
Between July 2012 and January 2013,
e-ternity’s monthly partner revenue grew 167%, and the number of
partners joining the program grew 62%.
"This
explosive growth reinforces the fact that there is huge demand for cloud
services by the partner community," began Greg Onoprijenko,
e-ternity’s president and MD of sales. "IT solution providers understand the significant up-front capital
investment required to launch cloud computing services, so it’s no surprise
that many of them are choosing to partner with an established cloud services
provider vs. building a cloud environment themselves."
"The
ideal e-ternity Partner is a small IT reseller or IT services provider whose
customers are asking them for cloud service options but the firm does not have
the resources or time to develop the portfolio from scratch,"
commented Guy Netaneli, e-ternity’s CTO and MD of services.
e-ternity has been delivering cloud
computing services to customers throughout North America since 2007. Having
predicted strong-demand for outsourced IT services, e-ternity invested
in computer hardware, software, and data centre expenses to develop its own
cloud computing IT environment. This investment enabled the organization to
provide outsourced technology services to its customers for
an affordable monthly fee. Because of demand from other IT solution
providers, e-ternity decided to make its service portfolio
available for re-sale in July of 2011.
Recent e-ternity Partners to join the
program include Advanced Network Products, Triella, Cloud Launch One, and
Gimello Consulting.
