Mike Uzan CTO, San Sentinel

SAN Sentinel SAS, publisher of SRM Cloud/SaaS software, independent from storage array manufacturers, announced the appointment of Mike Uzan, president of the board of directors as CTO in charge of the strategic developments.

Mike is responsible to maintain the strategic level of vision of the company, he understands what all of the technical parts of the team since the beginning. He is involved with formulating IP strategies and exploiting proprietary technologies. He is primarily concerned with long-term and ‘big picture’ issues, while still having technical knowledge of the storage.

Mike is the founder of SAN Sentinel. He brings 13 years of experience in storage management. Prior to founding SAN Sentinel, he was at EMC bringing a contribution first in the customer service to install and support product line, then in professional services to design and deploy complex infrastructure. In between, he has been involved in major EMC partners to design and deploy storage environments. Always facing the same customer’s storage reporting pain, he decided to contribute by creating an SRM solution to automate and standardize the realization of accurate reporting in minutes.

Mike Uzan was the founder and CEO of San Sentinel. In fact, he keeps his CEO position and is now also named CTO as the company hoped to get its first financial funding and leaves eventually the CEO position to a most well-know name of the storage industry.

With president and COO Jéronimo Munoz, they were recently in Israel meeting two big historical names in the sector as executives and financial investors: Moshe Yanai and Alex Winokur.
