Amit Bothra VP NAS Technologies, Skyera

Skyera Inc. welcomed Amit Bothra as its VP of NAS technologies, a position created to escalate Skyera’s development of their next-generation distributed scale-out NAS solution for solid-state enterprise storage.

 An innovative, hands-on executive, Bothra has led design and development of storage and system technologies for nearly 15 years, first for IBM and later at Symantec (through Veritas acquisition), ONStor and others. Most recently, he was director of engineering for Harmonic Inc.’s MediaGrid product line of scale-out NAS storage for broadcast and media.

Bothra graduated with honors from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kharagpur with a degree in Electronics & Electrical Communications Engineering.
