Alteratec 1:1 HDD Copy Dock USB3.0 Duplicator ($100)

introduced the 1:1
HDD Copy Dock USB3.0, a portable HDD duplicator and
docking station for professionals and enthusiasts.

This duplicator in a compact device is
a tool for building and upgrading computer systems.

This is a single device that can copy
HDDs and also serve as a dual HDD dock. It’s portable – weighing in
at just over three pounds – and features one-button operation.
Despite its small size, the dock is a standalone hard disk
duplicator, so there’s no need to tie up a computer running
duplication software. 

It has a sector-by-sector copy
process, including partition and boot sector information that creates
clones and backups of the source disk. All sectors are duplicated,
so the partition map and clone disk size are a match to the original.
This new duplicator and docking station also features a status bar
that allows users to monitor the progress of the duplication process.

It duplicates any combination of 2.5"
and 3.5" SATA HDDs and SSDs, CF memory, CFast memory and 50mm
mSATA drives can also be duplicated using optional adapters, not
included. 

The quick-connect HDD bays and HDD
release buttons make it possible to mount or dismount either drive in
seconds.

As a docking station, the 1:1 HDD Copy
Dock USB3.0 can be connected to the USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports of a PC
with the included USB 3.0 cable. This connection allows
users access to the contents of up to two connected HDDs at a time.
This is a way to add additional storage to an existing computer or
back up a computer’s data.

with the 1:1 HDD Copy Dock USB3.0 include the 50mm mSATA SSD to SATA
adapter – Part 350118, CFast to SATA adapter – Part 350120 and CF
Type I/II Memory Cards to SATA adapter – Part 350119.
