According to the report, VCE had a 57.4% share among a group of leading vendors of integrated infrastructure systems in the second quarter of 2012 based on revenue.
The Gartner report is the first view the firm has presented on the size of the integrated systems market. "The integrated infrastructure market is one of the fastest growing segments in the industry, and Gartner’s recognition of VCE as the market share leader demonstrates the demand we’re seeing for Vblock Systems," said Praveen Akkiraju , CEO, VCE. "Vblock Systems differentiates themselves with best in class speed to deployment of critical applications and workloads, delivering exceptional performance and compelling TCO. Our rapid growth is the result of our laser focus on customer experience and value."
Ten of the world’s top 15 telecommunications companies use VCE Vblock Systems as part of their cloud offerings, and VCE has significant penetration into Fortune 500 accounts.
