Hosted by Buffalo on servers in the U.S., Europe and Asia, BuffaloLink is a free service on supported Buffalo products, such as the LinkStation 400 Series of NAS devices, launching in early 2013. BuffaloLink is easy to set up and manage, with no advanced firewall configurations or membership fees.

"With each new gadget, daily activities revolve more and more around our digital worlds. Being connected to your content is now more than a luxury – it is a necessity," said Hajime Nakai, CEO at Buffalo Technology (USA), Inc. "We designed and built BuffaloLink to provide the best cloud access technology in the industry, allowing consumers to access terabyte of their content over the Internet."

BuffaloLink account registration and login to personal content is accessible. Its user-friendly interface provides simple navigation, making it easy for users to register and log in for access to their data. Consumers can access multiple supported products from one password protected account rather than maintaining instructions and login credentials for each Buffalo device. While on the go, users can access content from their mobile devices; apps for Apple and Android smartphone and tablet devices expand accessibility, making it easier and convenient for users to connect to their content when and where they need it.
