Hammer Distributor of DataCore

DataCore Software Corporation has signed an agreement with storage distribution specialist, Hammer plc, to  resell and provide professional services to support their SANsymphony-V software solution.

The announcement follows an evaluation of distribution partners in the UK.

Joerg Schweinsberg, director of distribution, DataCore Software EMEA, has led the evaluation and comments: "By signing the distribution contract with Hammer, we are pleased to have added a storage specialist distributor into the mix."

He continued: "SANsymphony-V enables Hammer to provide a software storage virtualisation solution within their portfolio and we are looking forward to actively working with their storage partner base who, we are certain, are going to be interested in the significant cost, performance and uptime enhancements that DataCore brings."

The contract is effective and Hammer joins Avnet Technology Solutions UK as one of the two official DataCore distribution partners in the UK and NL.
