"We see this as the natural next step towards an even closer integration between the content we store in the cloud and the devices that surround us in our daily life," says Mathias Ericsson, CEO CloudMe.

From now on any movie recorded with a smartphone or any other connected device becomes automatically and instantly viewable on Samsung SmartTV. The roll out has started within the US market, but will soon also be available elsewhere.

"We see that this is just the beginning of connecting your devices and the cloud with your living room. You shouldn’t need to think about where you stored your latest family movie, the pictures from the holiday or your favorite music. If you have CloudMe on your computer or phone, you will have access from your TV. Our vision is to be the open ecosystem that seamlessly brings all kinds of devices together for ubiquitous access. This release proves we have taken yet another important step on our path to fulfill it," says Ericsson.

CloudMe offers a range of native apps in HTML5, GoogleTV, Samsung SmartTV, Android, iPhone, Mac, Windows, Linux and WebDAV with even more releases scheduled in the near future.
