ZerOne Hosting Launches Windows VPS Hosting Services on SSD

ZerOne Hosting, Ltd., provider of Windows VPS Hosting, SharePoint Hosting, Hosted Exchange and Shared Web Hosting, announced the availability of its Windows VPS Hosting Services on SSD storage.

The new storage medium offers high IOPS and disk transfer speeds. Compared to traditional HDD storage, SSD is up to 144x faster (77,000 IOPS compared to 533 IOPS of a typical 15K SAS disk). This makes SSD storage essential for database intensive applications and high traffic websites and allows Windows VPS to perform at its best without bottlenecks from the disk subsystem, no matter the workload.

The SSD storage option is an addition to the characteristics of ZerOne Hosting’s Windows VPS Hosting Services which have been designed to provide reliability, speed and flexibility to today’s demanding VPS clients.

All Windows VPSs are based on Hyper-V for virtualizing Microsoft workloads. Hyper-V provides total VM isolation which makes every Windows VPS 100% independent from other VPSs on the same physical host.
