Amazon S3 Lowers Prices for Standard Storage and RRS

This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 3, 2012 at 2:53 pmAmazon Simple Storage Service (S3) has reduced standard storage and Reduced Redundancy Storage (RRS) prices, its 24th AWS price reduction.
This price reduction applies in all nine of its regions. With this price change, all Amazon S3 standard storage and RRS customers will see a reduction in their storage costs.
Standard storage prices are reduced 24-27% in the US Standard region, with similar price reductions across all other regions.
0-1TB storage tier in the US Standard region are down to $0.095/GB, a 24% price reductio with similar reductions across all of its storage tiers for storage up to 5000TB.
New prices are effective December 1st and will be applied to bill for all storage on or after this date.
