Aurélien Goujet Director of Pre-Sales EMEA Big Data, Quantum

Quantum Corp. announced that it is expanding its EMEA Big Data team, announcing the respective appointments of Aurélien Goujet to director of pre-sales EMEA – Big Data, and Laurent Fanichet to product marketing manager Big Data EMEA and APAC.

Alongside the existing experienced Quantum team, Goujet and Fanichet will be key drivers for accelerating the market footprint of StorNext Solutions and for reinforcing Quantum in big data intensive industries, such as media & entertainment, life sciences, research and oil & gas.
 
 With a proven industry track record, Goujet brings over 15 years of experience in pre-sales management, along with storage software and hardware expertise in data intensive industries. Prior to joining Quantum, he was pre-sales manager at Isilon Systems, now an EMC corporation, where he was in charge of managing the pre-sales team in EMEA. During his tenure at Isilon Systems, he played an instrumental role in developing key accounts in data intensive segments such as media & entertainment and life sciences. Previously, he held various pre-sales management and consultant positions within technology companies including NetApp and Compuware.
 
Fanichet brings over 20 years of marketing experience in the software industry where he has worked in a variety of roles, in both Europe and Silicon Valley. These roles include specialist areas such as product marketing, field marketing/communications, and business development. Most recently, he was director of field and product marketing at Atempo. In this role he was responsible for launching and promoting Atempo’s digital archiving platform in EMEA in big data market verticals such as media & entertainment, life sciences and research. Prior to this he worked at Avolent, ILOG (acquired by IBM) and Borland.
