Company recently acquired by NetHosting
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 28, 2012 at 2:59 pmVirtual hosting company NetHosting Corp. has put its service to work supporting 5GBFree.com to offer 5GB of server disk space for free.
5GBFree.com has been a service for some time, but was recently acquired by NetHosting.
5GBFree.com provides bare bones hosting suited for those who are interested in starting a small personal website or blog. The servers behind the service all use the CloudLinux OS to provide an improved shared hosting experience. All 5GBFree.com users also have access to Installatron and cPanel.
The service also offers a 5GB Pro upgrade. At a discounted rate, 5GB Free users can get unlimited disk space, bandwidth, and technical support, in addition to other improvements over the 5GB Free service. NetHosting also hosts those who use the 5GB Pro plan.
NetHosting technical support manager Troy Stephens remarked: "5GBFree.com is a great service for anyone who wants to get their feet wet creating a website and working with a hosting company. At NetHosting, we truly value our 5GB Free and Pro users, and work hard to make sure they get a positive hosting experience. There really isn’t a better service at a better price on the market right now."
5GBFree.com has provided free, no-obligation website hosting for over five years and was acquired by NetHosting in 2012. Since the acquisition, its services have expanded to include a 5GB Pro package that offers unlimited disk space and bandwidth, as well as live technical support.
