Zadara Storage Available Through Rackspace Cloud Tools Marketplace

Zadara Storage, Inc. has expanded its
Virtual Private Storage Array (VPSA) solution, a Cloud Block and File
Storage service for demanding applications, to the Rackspace, US
Inc.‘s open cloud.

The VPSA service is available for first generation Cloud Servers and
Cloud Servers powered by OpenStack through the enhanced Cloud Tools
Marketplace from Rackspace, the open
cloud company. This marketplace will serve as a gateway to an open
ecosystem of cloud solutions, which will give customers access to a
range of tools available for the Rackspace open cloud.

VPSAs are designed for the cloud. By combining the traditional
enterprise storage (SAN and NAS) and cloud storage-Predictable
Performance, scale, reliability, and privacy-they finally put an end to
cloud migration dilemmas. Security is addressed, providing encryption
both at-rest and in-flight. Data privacy is assured because customers
own and manage their cryptographic keys.

The Rackspace Cloud Tools Marketplace is a catalog of
third-party developed applications designed for the Rackspace open
cloud. Additionally, through the marketplace, customers can now browse,
review and connect to cloud solutions focused on management, monitoring,
application deployment and a host of other areas. By leveraging
Openstack and developing solutions specifically for Rackspace open
cloud, Zadara Storage provides flexibility for customers and helps them
avoid vendor lock-in.

By adding VPSA Cloud Block and File Storage service to the Marketplace,
customers can now select from three preconfigured packages:

1. Start-up Package with three 600GB SAS drives. Great for start-up SaaS customers.
2. Solid State Flash Package with four SSD drives. For customers needing ultra-high IOPS.
3. Enterprise Package includes a Boost Zadara Engine and twenty 600GB SAS drives for high IOPS and capacity.

All packages come with a free 15-day trial.
