Brian Carolan CFO, CommVault
Replacing Louis Miceli
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 6, 2012 at 3:04 pmCommVault Systems, Inc. announced that Brian Carolan, 41, has been promoted CFO from his current position of VP, Finance, Chief Accounting Officer.
Carolan has served as Chief Accounting Officer since July 2006. He also held the position of Controller from February 2001.
Prior to joining CommVault, he was with Ernst & Young LLP where he started his career in 1993.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University, a
Masters of Business Administration from New York University and is a
Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey.
Brian will have worldwide responsibility for all financial matters
including reporting and controls. He will also have public facing
responsibilities with investors, financial analysts and customers and
will continue his role in strategic financial planning. He will report
directly to N. Robert Hammer, chairman, president and CEO.
Louis F. Miceli, 63, CommVault’s SVP and CFO, will step into the newly-created position of SVP of Finance,
where he will continue to provide consultation and oversight to the
company’s finance department and will also be responsible for special
projects, such as the planning, design and construction of our new
headquarters facility.
Hammer stated: "Lou and Brian have worked tirelessly in helping to
build a world-class finance department and will continue to be an
integral part of CommVault’s success going forward. I congratulate them
