Toshiba: Fiscal 2Q12 Financial Results

Toshiba Corp. announced the financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2012.

Concerning storage, HDDs and SSDs are together included in its Storage Products Business but without the details by drives. The company just stated that "storage products sales rise mainly in HDDs." Note that this last quarter period include part of the 3.5-inch desktop HDD business the company got from WD.

For the six-month ended September 30, 2012, HDD and SSD revenues increased 17% Y/Y at ¥205 billion.
