cloud features.

The solution provides a way for businesses to deploy a cloud storage
access solution, while retaining control of the data storage and
related access infrastructure.

Recognizing the benefits of private cloud storage, many businesses
are reluctant to trust public cloud storage based on concerns about
security, control and compliance. Gladinet’s solution gives them
the flexibility to apply cloud access models to local storage or a
combination of local and cloud storage.

For example, there’s an
option to create a private cloud with existing servers that allows
remote users to access file server data from their mobile devices
without going through a public cloud or VPN. Furthermore, a business
can select a hybrid model that integrates local and cloud storage,
without changing the way that the different data sets are accessed.

It is also useful as an access solution for enterprises that have
deployed private cloud storage using technology like Openstack or EMC
Atmos. It allows them to provide the access and mobility features of
public cloud storage services using their own infrastructure. They
can maintain control of the entire cloud solution stack, from storage
to access infrastructure to client devices.

According to Jerry
