announced the availability of a cloud backup platform, optimized for
service providers to address and support business customers.

enables service providers to offer DR as a component to their backup
and restore services. Clustering support for virtual environments
allows service providers to target high end business customers with
requirements.

DR features for
advanced cloud backup services
By including DR
functionality, the company responds to requests by thousands of
service providers. With version 14 ISPs aiming to provide backup
services can now manage file backup and restore, but also schedule,
automate and execute DR jobs. DR functions managed by the service
provider are executed by the local DR device at the customer site. In
the event of a complete system failure, customers as well as service
providers can restore systems on existing as well as dissimilar
hardware.

Cluster Support
for Virtual Environments
Provides Business-Grade Services
With clustering
support in version 14.0 NovaStor allows service providers to tailor
their services to business needs. New support of Hyper-V clusters and
Cluster Shared Volume environments helps to fulfil these
requirements. Protection for Hyper-V VMs in a cluster configuration
and Cluster Shared Volume environments further expands on NovaBACKUP
xSP’s set of features.

Support for the
Latest Technologies
NovaBACKUP xSP is
regularly updated for compatibility with technological innovations.
It expands OS support to Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. An update
of the media and device library ensures service customers can employ
all storage devices including latest CD and DVD technologies for
local backup, restore and DR.
