Implemented with Zycko
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 29, 2012 at 2:51 pmVirtual Instruments, Inc. unveiled the VirtualWisdom Accreditation Programme, which equips EMEA channel partners with the training and certification they need to grow their business by delivering performance monitoring, troubleshooting and infrastructure optimisation across customers’ FC SANs and virtual infrastructures.
Implemented in conjunction with VAD Zycko Ltd., the only Authorised Training Partner (ATP) in EMEA, the programme focuses on enabling resellers to deliver basic installation, support and consultancy services. It gives them hands-on experience in the Zycko laboratory with the VirtualWisdom software and hardware products. As certified Level One VirtualWisdom administrators, participants gain a knowledge of infrastructure performance management, which is critical to key IT initiatives such as data centre migration and consolidation, cloud adoption and virtualisation.
"Our growth is accelerated by our channel partners’ achievements so they are vital to our success," said Richard Brown, EMEA OEM sales and alliances manager at Virtual Instruments. "Their feedback has guided us in developing the VirtualWisdom Accreditation Programme. As a result, we have rolled out a well-designed, practical curriculum that gives them the knowledge and hands-on training essential to facilitate new opportunities and expand their businesses."
"Resellers have a unique advantage by selling the industry’s leading infrastructure performance management solution," said Peter Barnes, group services consultant and director of training Services at Zycko. "Today VirtualWisdom is the only real-time monitoring solution for enterprise SANs that partners can leverage to differentiate themselves and become more relevant to their customers. With storage and virtualisation being strategic IT priorities, Virtual Instruments has made it easier for resellers to successfully win new customers and deliver an optimisation platform that allows for lucrative follow-on sales and service engagements. We’re delighted to be the official EMEA Virtual Instruments training partner – the VirtualWisdom Partner Accreditation Programme demonstrates Virtual Instruments’ long-term commitment to its channel."
